Just started my "Thru the Winter" Build thread featuring my recently acquired "Precedent Quarter Scale Stampe SV4B" kit.

Having reacquainted myself with the poor die cutting and a "locust swarm" of small parts to be custom fitted. (it's my second build of this kit) it's safe to say I won't be doing the maiden flight this year.

You will find it here:

This is the maiden flight of a Dollar Tree Foam Scratch built Stampe SV4B Scaled up from the 3 view on the plans of the Precedent Kit.
Had to work hard to slow her down!

A few of my lunatic ... er... loyal fans have requested that I put a few links here for the *good* threads I've started. So hard to pick them out of the weed bed of bad threads.
Most have a link to youtube for the maiden flights.
The Youtubes that have no threads, I will attempt to put links here later.

Pretty good! I only put off doing this for 8 years.

Very short first thread of converting a GeeBee models Tigermoth to brushless.

Here's the maiden of my Sig 1/4 scale cub with a vid at the end. She's still flying well but with new bearings.

We upgraded the Cub to lipos and made more vids with an obvious power increase. Look at my avatar, Four years later.

Then came a front yard Demoiselle out of depron and basswood for the new spektrum micro gear.

Next up... A profile B-10 in depron with differential throttle instead of a rudder.

And if that wasn't strange enough, a 1909 Avro Triplane of basswood and depron.

Then I blew up the Sterling Peanut Fokker D VIII plans and made yet another depron front yard flyer.

Then started the nostalgia craze when I found a kit on ebay of my old Veco Pinto.

Then another old kit from ebay... The GeeBee models, Dreamer Bipe! Electric!!!!

Then another nostalgia ship but from plans... The Chicken Hawk electrified.

Next up for nostalgia was the Veco Thermic 72... Boy. Nostalgia never gets old.

Finally to bring it up to date in December 2013,
The Goldberg Skylane 42 with 2.4ghz simulated escapement!!!
