The E-raider, after sitting on my shelf for 7+ months, has been built and flown; She flew beautifully, very stable, and moderately fast. Next project....something faster!

Well, got it in the air again today, after a few repairs from the last flight. Did not stay up long, the cowling was rubbing, and wind was a tad too high. After my patented "Ruptured Duck" landing, we discovered the wing had a 5" crack in the top, and after much discussion, and a few smokes, decided that the droops and dihedral HAD to go.

The wing is now in 2 pieces, awaiting epoxy and cf tubes. Hope to be airborne next weekend....if not, a new Formosa is on the way, and I will start working that one up with the guts from the e-starter...

Finally maidened my new E-starter today, with the help of DIALED/CHUCK (THANKS, BUD!) Got it flying, turns out they handle quite well with the battery hanging from the belly! Bean fields make for the best no ding crashes! Will be posting more as the development goes along, and will be edumacating Chuck on 'glassing/forming techniques, as he edumacates me on HOLY THAT'S FAST! flying wings.

Louie, this could be the start of a beyooteyful friendship!

More later, and listen to 94.9 the Point, when passing through the Virginia Tidewater area, you can catch Chuck and Jenna on in the mornings!

See, I plugged your show!
