Picked up a used Mini Blade for a very good price with all the gear in it. However it wasnt a sparkling new model by any stretch of the imagination ,an so I took to it with gusto for a full face lift .Now its almost ready to fly again and looks pretty good i'm happy with the finish ,just needs a cut and polish but thats nothing . So this is another one to go fast in circles on the wrong side of the hill.

Once again the carbon bird is almost back to flight ready, one stuffup on the wing was the use of a new spray putty looked great when sprayed, however half hour later Orange peel every where . Then to top it off The fuse had only a few scratches to clean up ,I just finished spraying and turn to walk away when I hear click bang ,arggggggh the damb hanging clamp let go and my Fuse was rolling around in the dirt . After some serious Acetone wiping I got it back to basics primed and back top top coat in 1 day . The wing on the other hand took hours to get back to top coat ready sanding, filling sanding again . But its ready to top coat again now . I'll be picking up a stable mate for the bird to DS its a second hand Miniblade and it will get a complete face lift before it hits the slope.

After the glassing and a resin wipe to fill the weave ,I use a high build primer coat as a witness coat to find high spots . But get the bottom fill right and there's not much work to do other than polish sanding.
