Decided to add this one to my blog today.
This is a real treasure.
Bought it used here about a year & a half ago.
If anyone has had one of these, they know what a great plane it is.
It is a 63 inch Graupner ELEKTRO KADETT.
All up flying weight with a 3cell 2200mah battery is only 51.75 ounces.
I consider this as probably the best all around plane i own.
Running a Turnigy 3542-1000 motor & as light as this plane is, that is a ton of power.

One of the four remaining nitro planes I have left.
I have had it for about 23 years.
If this would be feasable to convert it to electric. i would.
It is a 59 inch P-39 running on a 46 O.S. Engine.
Also has retracts.
I have put 8 flights on it in the last 3 years that i have been back in the hobby.
I still plan to take it out, but not often.
All i do now is electrics (just don't want the mess & the extra hassle anymore)

Another conversion from Nitro to Electric.
Worked out good (love it)
Has more power now than it did with the O.S. 61 Nitro engine.

Just finished converting my 21 year old, 78 inch Kadet Senior to electric.
Used a Gforce 32 running on a 4 cell 4200mah LIPO.
Worked out real good (plenty of power)
Just a 3 Channel floater (my third plane that i built in about 1992)
Won't fly it that much, but it was fun converting it to electric.
