Ya gotta love it. Old birds never die, they're just reborn. Here's a couple that came in yesterday. This P-51 is puportedly the only living one set up with dual controls, albeit one of the oldtimers there told me he worked on a setup with dual controls when he was stationed in England when the Mustang was introduced during the war. They were offering P-51 flights for $2200.00 for a 1/2 hr and $4000.00/hr. with stick time. The B-17 flights were about $500.00/1/2hr per person when they had a full contingent. Unk about any stick time. Way out of my price range at these costs. Luckily, I had the opportunity to ride 3 times in a B-17 Slurry Bomber(used for fighting forest fires) when I was learning to fly as a kid. New planes are a hoot & wonderful but the oldies get your guts wrenching with all the shake-rattle and roll. I remember flying commercial on DC-3's. A Liberator was scheduled to come in as well but I had to go so no pics. The armament on the 17 is all falsework.

Harv Dhiman's Incredible Aerobatics at IMAC Contest in Richland WA (4 min 9 sec)

Remember, if he dunked it, he'd lose out on points for the NW IMAC.

We're getting our new website up http://www.higginsfield.com/ and will be building more and more in time. We're located in SE Washington State and are going to provide info for our area and the surrounding areas for RC Planes, Helis' and Cars. We have 2 RC car tracks and are ever improving them. We have a great flying field and are improving it as well. Our landlord is the Benton County Parks Dept. so we have an edge in SE Wa. for RC events. Come and visit us sometime.
