Since I piled my UGLY schemed SeaGull Edge 540 in a few days ago, I've been on the hunt for a new airframe to stuff the gear into. I was running a Saito .82 in it and while it did OK, it just didn't have the umpf I'd like to have. It just flew heavy. After a few hundred hours (it seemed like) I finally found something from
Great Model Products located in Lathrop, Missouri. I'm getting a new 60" WS SBach. The bird can be built with electric or glow. WaHoo baby! There's a lot of SBachs on the market but they're mostly electric or start @ 20cc and go up from there. A couple of phone calls with Gary, from GMP, answered all my questions. This bird is 1lb lighter then the Edge was, will take my .82 & it's a LOT better looking.
I already have the 18% Pilot SBach in electric 53" WS so this should make for a nice change going to glow. The color scheme is different then most of the market offerings but is still pretty good looking.
There's been no build reviews, that I've been able to find, so one will be forthcoming once the package is in hand. The bird is mfg. by Gold Wing.
