Many of you all have visited and flown with Georgia Model Aviators, north of Atlanta Georgia. Home to many events from Warbirds over Atlanta to IMAC, the field is now in jeopardy of loosing the airfield our founding members worked so hard to create. Please help us by joining the cause, writing the commissioners, and if you are in town and available, please attend the Commissioner's meeting this Thursday.

We Need Everyone’s Help – Now & This Thursday 5pm at Forsyth County Commissioners Meeting at the Forsyth County Administration Building!

As mentioned in our October communiqué regarding our lease agreement with Forsyth County, we are continuing our efforts on two fronts: 1) Fighting to keep our current field and 2) looking for a new flying site as a contingency. With respect to fighting for our current location, there is a commissioner meeting this Thursday the 21st, which starts at 5:00pm. We need you to attend!

We are asking for everyone and family who can attend please do so. It is critical that we show how many people are affected by the Commissioners decision. They won’t know if we don’t show! GMA needs your support. Our leadership met with Commissioner Todd Levent this morning so that he could tell us what we are up against and how to counter it.
