Lately I've become a little bored with my flying so I've decided to shake things up a bit. I sold a bunch of planes and have decided to try my hand at pylon racing....well, since pylon racing (424 class) requires a nitro motor I decided I needed a fun to fly aerobatic nitro plane to go along to the field - something I could practice IMAC style flying with as I've gotten bored with 3D.

After some research I decided on this model - I must say so far I'm impressed. This is my first ARF and the quality is much better than I imagined it would be.

The Oracover covering job is first rate, it's like cheating for someone used to building their own.

The control surfaces are hinged with real pinned hinges, move freely and are not warped.

I tried to use all hardware that came with the model - I ended up replacing the following parts:

1) Fuel tank - the plastic lines that feed the tank broke before I could get it installed; I replaced the stock tank with a Sullivan slant tank.

2) Motor mount - the supplied mount is very weak.

3) Spinner - the supplied spinner is made of soft plastic, mine lasted about 10 mns
