I ran into some problems with my hosting provider and RC Flug Log was down for a bit. Happy to say that it is back up and working fine now for all of your flight logging needs.

Which did pilots prefer?

Find out here, with an interview on Warbird Radio with Blue-Nosed Bastard's pilot Robert Powell, who fought with both fighters in WWII.

Great interview with only one problem - too short!

Video of the Galloping Ghose P-51 RC Pylon Racer at Warbirds over Oberhausen. Turn up the volume on this one.

The sound gave me an adrenaline rush. Quick, need to run out and find a P-51 model....

The short answer is to use your elevator and throttle to establish slow flight before you turn to final approach, then use the throttle to control your rate of descent on final.

Long answer:

I got tired of my scary landings earlier this year and decided to do something about it.

I created a RCGroups Open Search plugin (should work with all modern browsers). This plugin uses a google search as I've found it generates better results.

Just go to this page and click on the phrase 'RC Groups' in the results.

Enjoy!
