Back again, I need a little help this time so I hope someone will come forward and point me in the right direction.
My Black Horse Ultimate is now completely finished but has yet to fly as the weather here in the Garden of England (Kent BTW) it's p*ss*d down for months and also the wind has been gale force most of the time. The engine is a well run in saito 125a and the prop a 16x6 jxf (apc lookalike in black).
During the build I beefed up the u/c mount and dumped the alloy legs in favour of the wire system from my carl goldberg Ultimate ( I do like these bipes!!!!) I have a 7.4V, 2100 mAh lipo with an 8 amp bec driving the electronics which are futaba 10 G 2.4 + a 7 channel rx from Futaba.
The wot 4 is ready to go, it has a saito 82a with a jxf 14x6 up front which is probably just too much for it but what the heck, radio is powered by a 7.4V, 1300mAh lipo
with a 5 amp bec driving a radio link 2.4 7 channel rx and 5 servos, the tx is also one of their 6 channel systems, I bought from a mail order firm here in the UK called www.giantcod.co.uk, take a look at the site some interesting stuff on there, BTW the 6 ch tx and 1 rx cost £53 or about $100, rx are £10 each or about $18. very good value for money.
I've also bought an ST models rtf Fox powered glider from www.ripmax.com, it comes with all servos installed,b/l motor 18A speed controller and now sports an 11.1V, 1300mAh lipo to drive it, it soaks up 15.5 amps at wot so I guess the speed contrller is marginal.
