Customizing a Blade MCX2
This entry documents my experiences with modding the Blade MCX2 coaxial 4 channel helicopter. I'm going to try to organize this by topic as best as I can, but some of it may simply end up being chronological because it's impossible for me to easily tease apart the different mods after they're installed.

MIA MD500E Kit for a Blade MCX/MCX2 Helicopter

This entry documents my experiences with the MIA Micro-Flight MD500E scale fuselage kit for the MCX/MCX2 (final product shown above). I'd like to say first and foremost that this project was a resounding success for me. I really enjoyed the build and the end result was better than I could have hoped. It flies really, really, well and is a terrific addition to my fleet. If you aren't afraid of cutting and gluing plastic model pieces together and are comfortable with working with the guts of an MCX, this is a great project to start out with.
