RC On TV

After editing this 87th installment, I am ashamed to hafta say that the pace is REALLY slow! LOL I apologize for this - very little sleep can have this affect. Nonetheless, we talk a bit about how RC has made an appearance on television this past week, some new offerings from Hobby Lobby that are certain to be a hit, as well as speculate what might be going on with the Ultra Micro 4-Site.

CNC "Crack"

It's been two months since we've had a chance to visit with the PhlatBoyZ (Mark and Trish Carew) so what better time to get an update from them than right now when they're on the cusp of releasing their latest piece of CNC equipment - The PhlatPrinter MK3! Most of you guys that have been following the progress of this long-awaited jewel have a pretty good idea of what it will look like and the kind of things it will do, but in this 86th installment we get into some of the latest improvements to the electronics package and workflow that will be implemented in it. Believe it or not, (as if the PhlatBoyZ hadn't already made CNC easy enough) they are making it even EASIER for the rankest of beginners to learn how to use!

Hits, Misses, and Rants

It's been a really tough week for me and this show stinks of it! LOL After some off-topic discussion, we talk about some HITS that I've found on the interwebs (some of which I have included in my Steals Of The Week), a MISS that I would be concerned about gambling money on, and a RANT that I've harbored for way too long. I apologize in advance if you find that this 85th installment is too far off the mark - even for me!

The "X" Planes

No, we're not talking about the "X" planes project that was started in the '40's. In this 84th installment of TheCrashCast, we have the honor of visiting with Mr. James Karpy of Millennium RC - makers of the SSX and MicroSSX series of planes! I also get to respond to a few letters I've received from around the world. Are you an avid RC enthusiast that is NOT in the United States? If so, please drop us an email and share how YOU enjoy this great sport in YOUR part of the world.
