The Spektrum Dx6i is ideal for sport modelers that want a powerful programmable transmitter but don't want to pay for a bunch of extra features they'll never use. It includes software for both airplanes and helicopters, as well as enough memory to store settings for up to 10 models. The 10 model is especially great if you fly mostly Bind N Fly aircraft.

Programming the Dx6i is about as easy as it gets. The combination of the Simple Scroll interface, easy-to-read LCD screen, and the simplified menu navigation will immediately put first time programmers to ease.. Many programming functions like throttle curve and expo are graphically depicted to give you a clearer picture of the changes you're making. 7

Features:

1500mAh Ni-Mh AA size batteries
wall charger
10 model memory
digital trim
modelmatch technology
airplane and helicopter programming

3 wing types

I have used this much and never had any problems with it. No knockouts except one. (that was the Rx's fault). Very reliable, trust on all my models.

5* definitely, for ALL criteria!

Finally got the mount made. Used some kind of plywood 1/4". Had to use a coping saw to cut it! Got some mounting screws (not too fond of the shorter stock ones that come with the motors), drilled some 1/16" holes, used a knife to cut/drill a hole in the middle for the shaft sticking out the back.

Here are a few pictures. [HD]...Continue Reading
