I hand painted the cowl on my new Hellcat. I think it came out pretty good. Just have to paint the rest of it. I'm trying not to use stickers on this one.

It seams like a 50cc electric plane is just a bad idea. And Gas seems to be more practical.

DLA56cc motor $270.00
battery for Ignition $25.00
Ignition Kill $20.00
Gas $3.75 gal.
2 stroke oil $3.00 for a gal.

Rimfire 65 cc $250.00
ESC $150.00
Battery $100.00
nice charger $100.00

It just seems like gas is just the way to go. Refuel the gas and check the battery, and go back to flyn.
Or electric fly the plane, Charge the battery and wait. And if you have more then just one battery price goes up more. So you fly again while the first battery charging and come back and the first one is still not done, so wait.

The only thing is less noise with elect. And that great 2 stroke gas smell.
Just a thought. Dan

N3SHXX, He is one Great guy. I mailed him my KK board and he put firmware in it for me at No charge. And mailed it back to me. I found him on here and asked him if he would do it for me.. I tried to pay him for doing it. And he said no, He would be glad to help a fellow rc guy out.

I had a Frsky module would not work one day. So I was looking for a new one. And fm_head got a hold of me and said He could fix it. So I mailed it to him. He looked at it and said it was a defective v-reg. And fixed it. He mailed it back to me. I got it today and tried it out. And it works Great. I only had to pay for the v-reg and shipping. This is one of the reasons I love this Hobby. Great people and Friends
I would like to Thank fm_head for what you did.
Thanks Dan

I painted my Bixler 1.1 to make it so I can see it better in the sky. I was having a hard time seen it. I was flying FPV today and camera came unplugged and was trying to find it in the sky. I found it just before it Crashed and saved it. It was all ways a hard plane to see. I hope this will help.

I Modded one of my D8R-II to use 2db Antenna's and it seems to work great. I did this to get more range. I used Mini PCI to RP-SMA Pigtail Antenna WiFi Cable. I was just seen if I was the only one who has done this. I order some more 5db antenna's to see if the range will get even better.

I was trying out hobbykings Aircraft Navigation Lamp Set. They don't work as good as I thought they would. You get past a couple hundred feet and you can't see them. The red are the worst.

This is my new kit built ( Dynaflite PA-18 SUPER CUB). I put a turnigy 52cc gas motor in it . And I still had to add nose weight. 104" inch wing span. And SIG 46 inch floats. I have a turnigy 9Xr radio with Frsky module .
with the floats I think it is powered about right. A 26cc would be way to small.
