Got to test the 5000kv motor on a 12T Robinson extra hard pinion and the HK100amp ESC....Ripped the rear tire on the front straight after 2 laps

got the spare and changed it in the evening..Track temperature by then was down plus it rained earlier so it was a bit damp....means - moRE SLIDING...!!!! really fun...tires lasted longer too...

I've got the a spare 13T pinion which i'm going to try out and see if it makes any difference....Can't wait....But first will need to re-solder the bullet plugs on the motor wires cause they're a bit too long - it's pushing against the body shell and not snugged it properly...after that, then i should be ok again to go on track....

CHEERs..

Need some more 'horsepower'..??....ThrottleJunkie recommended the HK100amp esc with a tenshock 5000kv motor... Will test out the esc with the stock 4200kv motor and the new 5000kv motor and let you guys know...

CHKTM of RCGroup did mention some flatspots with the HK100amp and 4200kv motor in the MM450 e-gyro thread..

You will need a 5mm pinion with .8 mod for the motor shaft...can either get from LiquidRC at ebay or from Towerhobbies..took awhile to get here but now i'm really stoked..!!!!!

If you are bored with the MM body shell, google - www.extremenitrohobbies.com-

They got plenty of option decals for the MM450 body shell..pretty cool too..got my monster kawasaki a couple of months ago.. two more decals are on the way...

I found this website - www.rcdirtbikeaction.com - is loaded with info on general maintenance of the bike... well worth the visit..make sure to bookmark as IT WILL come in handy...

Its been awhile..bike has been running on / off..had few downtimes...just want to share what i've found so far about the bike and things that you'll probably need to keep spare..

i. Bearings - do keep spare..the factory bearings gave way after about 6 packs in my case. Shouldn't be a problem. can get them at any bearing specialty shop and depending on availability. Found a site which the guys from the MM450 e-gyro thread are using

http://www.fasteddybearings.com/atomik-bearing-kits/

Havent tried them yet but quite eager to order...

ii . Sprockets and Spur Gear - the 9T Sprocket (#0526) did last bit longer. Easily more than 10 packs..However, need to always look out for the 68T spur gear...

Still a newbie at this but yeah, can always share what you guys think...
