Had a small run in with my buddies funder and lighting right after I finished the paint on my f16. His dropped out of the sky where mine was able to harrier in surprisingly.

The weekend started off on the wrong foot on friday when I crashed my Fliton Prodigy beyond repair on the maiden flight. The elevator servo came loose and there wasnt much I could do to save it.

The weekend got worse saturday was all rain but we got a few planes up none the less, the twinstar and pt-40 went up without a hitch although the pt-40 did end up in the swamp luckily undamaged. The extra 300 wasnt so lucky. After tuning the engine we finally got it in the air where one of the wheels fell off. This made landing nerve racking and turned into the extra coming home in three different pieces.

This was by far the least successful day had at Clarkson all semester and without a doubt the most destructive weekends....Continue Reading

Still flying after an entire year and dozens of crashes later is my supercub. Currently Im running stock electronics on a Rhino 2150mAh lipo with a 10X7 prop.
Landing gear is aluminium landing gear off a J3 cub. Skies are made from paint stirrers laminated together and bent using a jig. The ski are 2 paint stirrers wide and 7 inches long and work in just about any kind of snow besides really light powder. I'm going to experiment more this year and see what work be the best length to achieve good perform in light powder.
