My Local club is the CMPRA.
It's a competition racing club, but I'm one of the minority that just flies hither and thither, without a gratuitous lap timer.
I tend towards warplanes. The intriguing bit with WW1 planes is that ace pilots often thought that their top of the line rig was behind the technology curve. I.e.
- Albert Ball on the SE5, "POS".
- Manfred Von Richthoven on the Alb. DVa, "POS".
- Your opinion of your new computer OS...
All are long dead. There must be something to it...

When I'm not at the field I can fly my UM P-40 at local parks. Actually, I fly her at the field too.
