Tail ESC modified Walkera ESC be SSkaug.
Tail motor: Tiny Hextronik 2 g; Plantraco prop.
Main motor: Tiny HP03s, XP-3A ESC, custom converter by 4712.
Main motor is quite weak, and standard battieries (Eflite) do not work; Turnigy 300 work, but bad, Wellpower 250 and MiniAviation 300 are better, Wellpower 320 again better, but not really good. Hyperion 550 too heavy for main motor.

Tail works and holds perfectly! Perfect work by SSkaug.
No wagging, no blowing out at all!

Anyway, will have to use another main motor - HP03s works perfectly with stock tail-motor and KBDD/SP 100 tail, but seems to be too weak for this setup.

Weight of double BL as shown: 42 g.
< 40 g would be possible quite easy: using stock canopy, stock skids, removing 0.5 mm copper wire (for brushed tail), changing heavy Walkera full metal tail motor mount and CFK fin.

Little stronger than original ones. Made from 0.7 mm CF.

Left side: Original (broken, fixed with Epoxy - too weak), center and right custom made ones:

Some pics of my BL mCP x.
It is an intermediate version and flies very well.
Rakonheli frame, TurboAce 91416 14000 kv Inrunner main motor, 8 tooth pinion, XP-7A ESC, "old" TheSteves converter soldered to the backside-board spot, double coreless tailmotor (2 x Nine Eagles Bravo SX motors, Solo Pro rotors) with mounts and tail fin from Astroid-Designs - both versions, inline and over/under.
This main motor will be set in a stock mCP x frame soon (when the broken board will have been repaired), and the RKH-frame mCP x will get a C05M motor with 1 mm shaft (already waiting for being installed).
The double coreless tail motor is extremely good, tail holds very well, even better than with Walkera UFO8 motor and Silverlit Xtwin rotor.

I did it - it works, it flies
It is quite loud and the Bravo SX main motor is too weak for good performance, unfortunately. Its exactly 35 g without batteries - probably a little too heavy for the small main motor.
Work is not finished yet...

MIA S300 - Nine Eagles Bravo SX / Solo Pro mod

This MIA S300 heli with Nine Eagles Bravo SX parts flies fantastic. It easier to handle, more stable, much better in turns, and faster than the (very well flying) NE Bravo SX (and by far better than all my Solo Pros). Additionally the S300 is much more silent than the (very lound) Bravo SX, even the Solo Pro is much louder.
I have several fixed pitch helis (several Solo Pros with different mods, several Bravo SX, CB100, 4#3B), the S300 is my favorite one. It is the best flyer of all, the by far best „lander“, and it looks quite nice.
I have built this heli in December 2010. The MIA kit is easy to assemble, to fit the Bravo SX main frame needs a bit of surgery – the tail boom bracket of a second main frame has to be cut out and glued into the frame for the MIA heli, if the MIA tail boom is used.
I have reported these mods already in December in this and a German forum. But since the pictures of those posts are not available any more (server died) and I have been asked several times fort he MIA S300 Bravo SX, now again a report.

This report is dedicated to frieslander, who "forced" me to write my own blog!
