Who remembers these days?? This is an old school ducted fan video of a Frankel designed F4D Skyray. I grew up watching and flying glow ducted fans with my dad in the days before ARFs. If you wanted it, you had to build it!

Here's my Assembly & Flight Review of the Freewing Mirage 2000. The stock performance on this bird is pretty rockin and it looks good too. We'll be transforming the airplane completely into an IAI Kfir in future articles/videos.

A little vid of me flying my Freewing Mirage 2000. I'll have a full assembly and flight review posted next week! Also, this bird will be going through a transformation into a kfir in the near future which I'll be documenting on my blog and YouTube Channel.

I was pretty excited to see an AD Super Scorpion show up at our field a while back. I'm not a huge sport jet guy (love scale), but if I could own any sport jet, this would be it! I love the look of it.

This beastly F-18F Super Hornet was sporting a Kingtech 210 turbine in it and had pretty insane power! Unfortunately, the fuel system seemed to be drawing mostly from the forward tanks leaving most of the remaining fuel in the aft tank. As a result, the airplane was tail heavy on the approach which caused abrupt pitch up when elevator was applied. This is very much an F-18 feature when tail heavy.

I recently swapped out the fan in my competition scale JHH Mirage IIIRS. The airplane now sounds like it's turbine powered! IT's pretty nuts! Power system specs are as follows (available from jethangar.com):

Fan: JetFan120
Motor: Neu 1917/1y
ESC: Edge 160HV Light
Battery: 12s 6200 mah

My new favorite airplane! This is such a sweet flying model and the shape of the Tigercat is awesome! I still need to add a pilot and some stars and bars though.

A couple guys in my club love to fly formation with their warbirds. They're usually practicing most weekends. Here's video of them doing their thing. They do well keeping two very differently powered warbirds together.

Here's video of Corsair Nut flying his DuraFly 1100mm span Supermarine Spitfire. He repainted it into some later colors which really made it look nice I thought (I'm not a huge fan of the traditional brown and green). It's bone stock flying on a 4s pack and it's quick!

I love the Sea Fury. This is video of RCG member JPinn flying his. This was the second flight on the airframe. Man, if only they made one of these in a 1450mm size, I'd be all over it!

If Orca's could fly, it might look something like this. This is Air-Jon's Stinger 90. He replaced the stock canopy with a Freewing T-45 one which really improved the looks and also modified the inlets to make it super clean and efficient. To top it off, he's running a JetFan90 in it. The airplane rips up the sky!

This P-47 started life as a Top Flight ARF and was completely refinished into what is featured in this video. Owner/builder/pilot is Don Rice. Don finished 2nd at the US Scale Master's Championships in the ProAm class with the airplane. Unfortunately, the airplane is in a state of repair now as Don tied the world's record for the lowest inverted pass...hitting the tail and dragging it across the runway on it's back.
