The object of this group project is to introduce interested members of the Rowlett R/C Club to building sheet foamies. I am working on recommend electronics packages (motor, ESC, battery, servos) that can be ordered from a single source (minimized shipping costs) and well suit the planned builds. To go along with this, I am presenting several recommend aircraft for this group build. These should be simple but good looking and mostly conventional aircraft, of my own design, or likely picked from the many threads and posts here on RC Groups that are suitable. In the beginning, I will take recommendations, but once subjects are picked for this round, further discussion is likely to be removed from this thread (and possibly placed in a new thread as possible subjects for round two).

Fair warning, I will try to be reasonable, but posts that are offensive, outside of the subject of this discussion or otherwise do not add to the progress of the discussion are subject to being removed. I want the main topic to be easily followed.

Most of the posts here at the top of the thread will be updated as errors are found, new ideas, materials and designs are added. Always check these first six or so posts for information. If you don't find the information that you are looking for, please post questions. If you have answers, please post. Beware that useful comments may be added to these top posts for all to see!
