Hi Everyone -

My entry for Sundancers' build off is Berkeley Dick Korda Powerhouse 33 from 1947.
I'm using a scan of my original 1947 plan linked here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2150167

It will be electric rc ,scaled up slightly to 43". I like the Powerhouse 41 but the 33 appeals to me more.... it has the enclosed cabin ( windscreen) instead of having a motor out in the breeze It's somewhat lighter construction than the engine powered models, being intended for the OK CO-2 motor....

Feel welcome to download this nice full size plan which could be built as shown with spark ignition control line, or make it RC like I have intended to for years like some members of RCGROUPS are doing now...

Steve, I'll send this to outerzone although you have it already listed....

Enjoy,

Jeff

Hi All -

This is a full size scan from my original Air Trails full size Hobby Helpers plans service plan . It is Dick Everitt's wakefield rubber model from 1952.... I used to have the magazine but cant find it for now...

It is a different looking approach to the somewhat newer school of wakefield designs....

it would make a fine nostalgia type wakefield or fly it electric r/c...

Feel welcome to download this full size scan of a seldom seen design...

Steve WMD This plan has been shared with outerzone....

Hi Everyone -

These two plans are scanned from my original 1950s full size plans. They were published in MAN 4/52...

Hotter-n-that is a control line combat - it would be a nostalgia type CL today or build it for fun.. Sorry I don't know the designer for this one....

the Super Saucer is a Bruce Lester Towliner.... for those who don't know, he was a successful prolific designer and contest flyer from Canada.... His Robomb series is really cool ! The saucer is a conventional type towline glider, 48" span ? and would make a great free flight or r/c conversion today....

feel free to download these rare model plans and enjoy !

Hi Everyone-

This is the RC AERO-STAR 1962 RC model , 48". I have an original kit, the scan is from my kit plan. This model was kitted along with several others, by John Zaic, Brooklyn NY. SIG in Iowa carried these and they were listed in their catalog.

this model is a swept wing, trike gear with some interesting features and would make a fine vintage RC model with glow, diesel or electric. This one is on my build list.

Not all parts are shown on the plan, but I intend to trace critical parts and will share any of these also.

This plan is now listed on outerzone.

I will be glad to EMAIL a scan if asked by RC groups members only. The file size is 4.91 MB - over the rcgroups limit of 3 MB.

Best Regards,

Jeff

Hi Everyone -

The berkeley Dick Korda designed " POWERHOUSE 33 " is one of my favorites. This is a full size scan of my original kit plan from 1947-8....

I don't have the formers to make a trace but anyone who wants to build from this plan can easily fill in the blanks

OUTERZONE has the " MODEL AVIATION " plan with an addition of the formers

and parts not shown on my kit plan...

Thanks to WMD and Sundancer for this...

The model was designed to be powered by the Herkimer OK CO-2 motor for A.M.A. competition. Today this model would still be a good CO-2 or electric or IC freeflight or RC. When I build mine it will be electric RC.....

Feel free to download this rare plan...

Steve I have sent this to outerzone....

Enjoy and Best regards,

Jeff

this is a NICE plane for the stick and tissue builders like me who enjoy a classic model which is a real conversation piece also....

the plan shows all the parts patterns and illustrates the K&B Infant Torpedo .020 glow engine from 1949 .....

when I get time it will be built close to original with a parkzone " brick " radio and a small brushless outrunner...

Please feel free to download and enjoy this rare plan...

Steve WMD this has been submitted to outerzone...

Hi Everyone-

Here is another rare model airplane design scanned directly from my copy of
Cal Smith's Book of modeling 1952.

The wingspan , I think, is 62" but double check before scaling up...

This was a single channel rudder only 1952 vintage rc - it looks like it would

fly wonderfully with the trike gear and distinctive twin rudder design !

Feel welcome to download this rare article... STEVE WMD - I have submitted

this to outerzone....

Best Regards,

Jeff
