How to put V8R4-II into binding mode respectively
V8FT, V8JT, V8HT
Connect battery to V8R4-II while holding the F/S button on V8R4-II
DFT, DJT, DHT, DHT-U in V8_Mode (Non-telemetry)
(Switch 1 OFF and Switch 2 ON)
DFT, DJT, DHT, DHT-U in D_Mode (Telemetry)
(Switch 1 OFF and Switch 2 OFF)
Connect Ch1 & Ch2 signal pins of V8R4-II by provided jumper and then connect battery to V8R4-II directly (no need to
hold the F/S button on V8R4-II)(Note: Does not send any telemetry data.)
For thermal gliding, typical values of the 4 param could be -3 -0.3 0 3. For other type of fligth, adapt freely according your preferences.
Right, good question, you need to tune those values to match your planes sink ratios, the 2 inner numbers are dead zone
which will stop any beeps, the 2 outer numbers control how fast the beeps go for a given rate of ascent descent.
I tune the numbers so that for a normal flat glide the vario is quiet but hit a bit of sink/lift the beeps start. The
outer numbers are up to personal pref really but the lower the numbers the more sensitive it will be.
My minimoa need a 0.1 in the lift and -0.7 in the sink to get it about right, my blaster dlg need 0.2 lift and -0.3 in the sink.
