Vector field of target headings required to manage a good loiter. 1x1 km grid, cell size of model is 50m. radius of loiter is 400 meters.

Same vector plot, local curvature solved numerical in an AttoPilot. Blue = zero, red = max curve. Because the curvature has been converted to roll angle required, there is a flight speed assumption = 60 km/h. NO WIND.
