In fact, it was so much stronger that I was able to install a taller 1" tail wheel, which would usually cause too much stress on the original support.

While I was at it, I went ahead and picked up a new set of 2.5" main wheels. Since they're thinner and taller than the stock wheels, they slice through the air better, they're able to run on taller grass and the 5 spoke design just looks way cooler....

Not too long ago, I had a serious aerial mishap during low inverted flight when the ground suddenly jumped out in front of me. It ended up snapping the fuse right at the landing gear mount....
