Note that the carbon boom did have a small pilot hole in its center that helped aid in identifying when the center bearing was indeed centered.

Re-inserting the drive shaft could be a little tricky with that center bearing, but with a few stabs at it, it eventually went though. Waiting to install the third end bearing after the shaft has been inserted was also recommended.

Only the two fin holders needed reaming, not the tail gearbox.
