The surplus geared motor used on the whirl-litzer. This could easily be replaced with a rubber winder or an electric screwdriver

General trimming setup used for the 9" span RC "Fike E" test model ---- To my surprise this "Guesstimate" worked first time!!

The, fixed hook made from a length of coat hanger wire. It must be springy!

The hook was fixed by pushing though a hole in the batten before bending around the batten. Feel free to replace with an “engineered” solution.
