The control surfaces are quite responsive, yet they don't make the plane too twitchy either. I did add a healthy amount of expo to tame them a touch down, however.

Why fly where you can't see the plane? With this plane, it's more fun to keep it close by the flight line and make a show out of it.

Once I resolved the power issues — first by switching to a 10x4.7SF prop and later by having to put a new motor in — I finally got unlimited flying performance. And, of course, vertical rolls soon followed.

Inverted harriers, close to the ground, are by far my favorite thing to do with the Patriot. They are, in fact, more stable than upright harriers. If you lock in on its sweet spot, they're virtually hands-off.

Well, I believe it's rudder-scratching time while performing a harrier. Sure, you can get lower than this — but where I come from, they call that a landing.
