2 QUESTIONS FOR "THE DON"

Hello Don.
I Am The Proud Owner Of Both Your Extreme 5400 Motor/adapter And Your 4800kv Motor/adapter. How Can You Tell Them Apart??? I Have Had Them For Quite Some Time And Just Want To Make Sure One Didn't Get In The Others Box.

Secondly, I Will Be Using A Cc Phoenix 45 In A 5 Blade Alpha Ducted Fan A4 Skyhawk. Can You Give Me Advice On Settings. I Will Be Using A 3s Outrage Lipo.

Well depending on when you bought them they may or may not have the identification dot on them. If you look at the black heat shrink coming out of the motor, there should be a paint marker dot. Red= 5400, Green=4800, Dark Blue=4000. If there is no paint dot then all you can do it test run them. The higher amp draw will be the higher KV. As far as settings, I would use default settings with the exception of use the lowest timing setting you can select.

Thank You For Your Quick Response. I Ordered 2 New 5400 Kv Motors And May Have Forgotten To Order Them With 2 Alpha Rotor Adapters. Can You Add Them On And Let Me Know The Price Change?
