servo base travel?

Hi, i can't get the 90 degrees travel they state. I've tried all the different holes, i'm using the longest arms supplied. When i disconnect the power and turn the servo by hand , it will travel 90 degrees but when i hook it up it only does about half that? Any ideas? I've been looking for pictures showing it hooked up, but can't seem to find any specifically showing the servo hooked up and operational.
It does say to use a proportional channel does that mean a dial?

Please tell me more about your setup. What servo is it? What radio system are you using? Is this in an airplane? Most programmable radios have end point adjustments so you can control how far the servos move at full travel on the control sticks. You may need to adjust some settings in your radio, but we'll know more about it once we have more information from you.
