So this afternoon I was on the phone with a guy trying to figure out this problem I'm having with the HoneyBee King II. Darn thing, as soon as it gets up light on the skits it starts sliding sideways, to the left. Not the tail but the whole thing. If I tilt the pitch hard right I can almost keep it still, but that ain't gonna get it up off the ground. Just flip it over. (did it) Was not getting any response from the trim slider control. It does move the swash plate. Looked at it when the motor wasn't running. So what the :censored: ? Heli starts acting stoopid. Started smoking thick gray smoke from under the battery. Ran it outside. Turned it over and had flames from the esc. That sucker actually caught fire. No damage to the heli, just one burnt esc. Chinese crap. I need to get another and a motor. Suggestions for one that will fit almost properly? And why does the thing slide to the left?

well, all single rotors slide to the left on take off, as you get some skills you'll learn to counter act that with the controls, once you get it up in a hover it will stop.......

The stock ESC and motor on the king2 sucks, it is an upgrade requirement to tear that junk off and get a better esc and brushless motor, most people get the 3900 or the 3800 BL motor.

those parts catching fire is "normal" with this heli, thats why people pull them off and replace them with better ones as soon as they take it out of the box

aarrghh. Twas gonna swap it out. Read about the problems with the motor. Didn't figure I'd have to do it before it would even fly.
