You can find all sorts of goodies there at stupidly low prices. I managed to get a bunch of high quality C-clamps there once. Also a high quality jig saw for just $30! You can find all sorts of craziness there, from the practical to the insane. For instance, on the one hand you can get amazing deals on speakers, computer components, compact florescent light bulbs, and tools, and on the other hand, you can find hydraulic pistons the size of your leg, everything needed to build a tesla coil, obscure photo equipment, and oscilloscopes the size of a TV. Oh yeah and they have TV's too.
last time I was there, the guy who sold me my jig saw and C-clamps, had a huge display of general woodshop tools that would make Home Despot look inadequate. He even had Honda generators going for cheap.
So needless to say, it's a good place to pick up useful doodads for your workshop.
The next one will be in the spring, so perhaps this alert is more than a bit premature.
