I'm new but familiar with flying rc airplanes, and the standard
transmitter layout, left stick is speed control and rudder, right
stick is elevator and airelons (sp?) I want to get into Helis as well,
right now i'm just flying
a heli sim, while saving money, but I want to set up my controls the
same as they will be when i'm actually learning... I'm curious: is the
left stick pitch and tail and the right stick nick and roll? Is there
a standard people follow?

Thanks

John

What you describe (elevator & aileron on right stick, collectice/throttle &
tail on left stick) is called Mode 2, and yes this is the way most people
fly. Not everyone though. But most.
