Hi Guys,

Saturday's weather forecast looks great, 60F and light winds. I will bring my HLG and maybe my Waco. Don, is yours ready to fly yet? I will also bring my digital camera so I can take some pictures for the who-is-who page.

Looking at the threads it still does not look like we are attracting a lot of members, I see Ted, Don, Michael, Villas and myself.

How can we get more members to use this?

Marcel.

Are you guys all charging the batteries ? I am...

I went out to the field for a while today, around 1PM.
Conditions (for sailplanes ) were OK, but not great, I managed a couple of flights around 15 min.

I went to our regular spot, but that still is a swamp, if you don't stay with your car on the "pavement", you will most probably get stuck, like it happened to me last weekend... :o

I will bring my HLG and maybe my Waco. Don, is yours ready to fly yet?

Negative on both accounts - the Waco is waiting on batteries, and my HLG is without servos.

I do hope the ground isn't too wet for some wheeled take-offs - I will bring either my Lazy Bee or my new Three-Dee.

See in the morning.

Sorry I missed flying todday. We had two birthday parties to attend!

I think we are getting more traffic. The number of views is up, but peple are just looking for announcements, which is okay.

Maybe we could post an interesting picture or two from each Saturday's flying session, or works in progress to let people who missed feel like thery were there?

It was a great day of flying - I didn't want to leave! Judging from the turnout today (including some CSS members), I think we are going to have a lot more people showing up on Saturdays this year. At one point I noticed that the entire parking area was full! And seeing all those HLGs in the air at one time was fun.

What a day. We flew for more than 6 hours, and I got at least a dozen max flights with the Raptor (longest flight was 12 minutes, and we were doing loops and rudder rolls in the thermal!). The only thing that stopped me (other than needing to go home and change for a dinner date downtown) was my Tx low battery alarm beeping right after I cored the hat-sucker thermal of the day! How ironic is that?

Thank God spring is here at last, guys. We'll have lots more great days.
