I bought a Syma S001 to get my feet with with my new found hobby. Of course, while learning I had an issue...
I am trying to remove the Balance Bar from the Inner Shaft and it is connected by what looks like a screw but it is not. I am hoping someone with experience can assist me in removing the Balance Bar from the Inner Shaft.
Thank you all for your assistance.
On a side note, I am considering the Walkera 4#3B as my second heli to purchase...any comments.

I can't help you with the Syma, not many people here have them. Pictures might help.
As for the 4#3B, they are very quick and react a lot, to the slightest air currents. Of 12 coax, FP and CP helis I own, it's the most difficult to fly. On the positive side, they are hard to damage and don't require much room to practice in. If you are young and have fast reflexes, you will adapt quickly enough. If you are over 40, you might want to consider something else.
A 4#3Q is supposed to be more stable.

Here are some Pics...I am trying to get that pin out so that I can remove the broken inner shaft from the Balance Bar.
I am leaning towards that 4#3 and with all the different options, not sure which one. Brushless vs. Regular. I think the reflexes are still good and hopefully will be well into my 40s.
Thanks for the help!

Looks like you need piece of wood with a small hole in it, and a small screwdriver and a small hammer.
Put the balance bar on top of the hole, and tap the pin out (into the hole in the wood) with the small screwdriver and hammer.

If you have no other heli experience the 4#3B is likely to be quite a handful.

The 4#3B is a model that can be learnt on if you go to the micro section you will see there have been many successfully learnt on this model - its small and that does make it a little difficult in some respects - but its also very tough little heli so after most crashes you just pop it back on its skids and start again.
Remember you learn nothing about flying when your heli is stuck on the workbench awaiting repairs ;)
