If it hadn't been for rcgroups, I would have bought by priceline assuming all products are the same competence, and paid $39 shipping from China. I had actually entered such an order but backed out when it quoted shipping.

LHSs can be helpful, but they carry like one brand of starter helis (Eflite) so you can't compare. And the rent they pay for those storefronts is added to everything they sell.

Gotta research purchases nowadays, can't trust just any vendor or any product. Look what happened to Dell! (BTW, I admin a Dell complaint site and used to work there.)
