I down loaded the free FMS simulator this weekend. Played with it for a couple of hours using the key board. I want to hook up a Tx and have no idea for sure how. I have no TX that will work. What do I need?

In my opinion, this is the one I like the best:
http://www.allerc.com/product_info.php?products_id=3660
and this is the cheapest and very good as well:

I've got the E-Sky 0905A. It works great for me.

Another question I just thought of. Can I use this controller with the FMS software that I already downloaded? I ordered the cheaper of the two.

Yes, it can be used with the downloaded FMS. In many cases the FMS version that comes with the controller is an older one like FMS 2 alpha 8.3 or so. You should use FMS 2 alpha 8.5.

I down loaded the software on the FMS website last weekend, so I should have the latest version. Can't wait to get the controller. I hope it isn't back ordered.

Dealextreme back ordered my controller, so I cancelled the order. I ordered the other controller from allerc. How long does it usually take to ship?

I got mine from another company (don't recall for sure which one).
But it works perfectly on FMS, CRRCsim, and SSS (Slope Soaring Simulator).

You do need to do a bit of tweaking to get the "servo reversals" correct.

Got my GWS controller from Allerc yesterday! Great service from them. As soon as my wife let's me use the computer again, I will hook it up.
