Hey guys!
This started as an idea of a P51D Parkflyer model. It's the Art Tech Mustang, I'd really appreciate every AT Mustang owner and AFPD owner to try and comment this model's performance.
Just extract to ...\IPACS\Aerofly Professional Deluxe\aircraft folder so full path to model files is:
...\IPACS\Aerofly Professional Deluxe\aircraft\art-tech-mustang for Beta 1
and
...\IPACS\Aerofly Professional Deluxe\aircraft\at-p51d-mustang for Beta 2
Thanks a lot!
Cheers!

Geat job MC !
Feels just like the real thing. Maybe a bit faster than a stock AT Stang. And non-stock retracts.
But I love both those deviations from stock.
Can't wait to try the final version and see the final paintjobs.
Keep up the good work.

Ok, as for the speed, I can increase the fuselage drag a little bit. That should make our Stang a bit more lazy in the air, I will surely note this down for future reference.
As for the retracts, they are here kind of by accident, the original AFPD Stang model had them so... Karl-Heinz and me agreed that we will make 2 versions: 1. Hand-Launch version with no gear at all, and 2. Normal version with gear that can't be retracted. Maybe we'll leave one with retracts though, just for kicks - IRL retracts can be installed in this model, it's painful, but it can be done! :)
Well I think we can make this AT Mustang model performance pretty close to our real AT Musty.
Everyone, please shoot me down with more comments and input, so I can take everything into consideration and make some modifications before I post beta2 version Mustang with stock paintjob! :D
Once again thanks a lot for your input!
Cheers!

Yeah, please keep the retracts.

Been contemplating that for quite some time now. Outline drawn on the wings, lack some guts to put the knife in there though..... And some fear that the stock ESC/BEC could not cope with one more servo.

Haha I'm glad you are. Model is complete 100% regarding aerodynamics and physics. What I am fighting right now is graphic textures, I made Shangri-La variant and I'm doing the stock AT Mustang paintjob. I promise, Shangri-La skin and model will be posted on monday, and that's a CEMENTED promise :)
Thanks a lot for your testing, cheers!

Guys Beta 2 "Shangri-La" Mustang has been attached to my 1st post in this thread.
Changes include more realistic looking landing gear, slight aerodynamics changes to represent as true feeling of our musty as possible.
Feel free to download it and try it out, and please do suggest any changes you might consider to be required on this model.
Enjoy, thanks!
