I'm planning on getting Phoenix Rc.
1 Will an Esky Lama tx work?
2 Will it be able to do 3D even if it was meant for a coax?
3 If not, what's the cheapest tx that'll work (link pls)?
4 Is there a Phoenix + tx combo?

Trying to keep my expenses below $150. Or I could just get Clearview. Thoughts?

The idea of a simulator is to simulate the flying characteristics of the real model. If the real model is designed for a basic hover / forward flight then the model in the sim will do the same. So to answer your questions:

1) - probably not - unless the TX outputs a standard PPm signal and in separate un-mixed channels

2) - No

3) - No idea - Google or ask in your local model shop

4) - No - I'll think you'll find that Phoenix comes with a dongle interface for use with standard transmitters.

If you want further advice on compatibility I suggest contacting Phoenix direct
