Assan GA410 - Spekrum DX6i

I am pulling out what little hair I have left.

Has anyone managed to get a GA410 gyro to switch between normal / tail lock mode attached to a Spektrum DX6i.

I am sure I have done everything correct.

gyro attached to channel 4 - rudder
remote gain attached to channel 5 - gear

Dual rate set up on Transmitter for pitch/throttle/gyro all associated to gear/flight mode switch.

To get the gyro to initialise I have to put the Tx in throttle hold (as per some instructions I have read) before turning on the Rx

Once initialised and the throttle hold switched off, I can't then switch the gyro between normal and tail lock, it stays on tail lock all of the time.

I know this is 6 months late, and you probably either figured it out or got so frustrated you tossed the Assan gyro. But you have to adjust your GYRO menu to switch between HH and rate. 51%-100% is HH, 1-50% is rate mode. Set your swith to gyro, and set 0 (swith up) to about 70%, and 1 (swith down) to about 40%. Then adjust your 70% up or down until tail holds and does not wag.
