I've got em infornt of me. I was hopin to cya this morning to give it to ya
but i've written it down for ya here...hope it makes sense...

Enter programming. [STEP 1]
1. Switch Tx on throttle to top position and connect battery to ESC
2. Wait 2 secs, the motor should emit special tone "beep beep"
3. Wait for 5 secs, another special tone like "56712" should be emitted,
which means program mode is entered.

Select program items. [STEP 2]
After entering program mode, you can hear 8 tones in a loop in the
following sequence. If you move the throttle stick to the bottom within
3 secs after one kind of tone then this item is selected.

1. "beep" Brake (1 short tone)
2. "beep-beep" Battery type (2 short tone)
3. "beep-beep-beep" Cut off mode (3 short tone)
4. "beep-beep-beep-beep" Cut off threshold (4 short tone)
5. "beep--------" Start up mode (1 long tone)
6. "beep--------beep-" Timing (1 long 1 short)
7. "beep--------beep-beep" Set all default (2 long 2 short)
8. "beep--------beep------" Exit (2 long tone)

Set item value. [STEP 3]
You will hear several tone in loop. Set the value matching to a tone by
moving the throttle stick to top when you hear the tone, then a special
tone "1515" emits, means the value is set and saved. Keeping your throttle
stick at top, you will go back to selecting programing items; Moving the
stick to the bottom within 2 secs, you will exit program mode directly.

Item\Tones: | --"Beep"--------|----"beep-beep"-----|---"beep-beep-beep"
-------------|--1 short tone----|--- 2 short tone-----|----3 short tone

Brake--------|------Off---------|--------ON ---------|--------X--------

Batt type----|---Li-ion/ Li-Po----|----NiMh/Nicd ------|--------X--------

Cut off mode-|---Reduce PWR---|------shut off-------| -------X--------

Cutoff thersh-|-----low---------|------Medium--------|------High-------

Start up mod-|----Normal -------|------Soft----------|-----Super soft--

Timing-------|------Low --------|-----Medium--------|------High-------

Exit program mode.[STEP 4]
There are 2ways to exit program mode:
1. In step 3 after special tone "1515" move throttle stick to bottom within
2 sec's.

2. In step 2 after tone "beep----beep-----" (ie item #8") move the throttle
stick to the bottom within 3 secs.

Just tried the instructions and they worked perfect.
It wasn't the timing, it was start up mode. changed to soft and off it went.
Thanks James
