I was planning on a 4S and a 4.5 x 4 prop. That really scooted my 36" Ritewing Lightning and think it will push this prety good. Any other photo you have of the build would be appreciated if you have them.

Sorry Don i don't. I just followed your build and just installed the rest in. The cone is from a funjet. I did the reduction of the tail as you showed in your build. With the funjet motormount you can adjust the up and down with the lower screw.

o, on the prop i will use the 4.75x5.5. I have use it on my funjet with 4s and it ran fine and very fast.

I don't know of any US companies but the shipping from Windrider in Hong Kong is pretty quick.

HI
I have ordered one DB also. That DB is lots of airframe for that size so you need thrust also. So you that are going to use pusher setupp.
go for one that will rew 20000rpm with 7x4 APC glow prop.
That is well proven combination that will make you say wow!!!!
with smal Chinese motors that we sell 50-70g 1880-2200kV at 3s pack 1600-1800 20 c packs. this gives 1,2kg of thrust at 22-23A aroun 17000rpm, the speed is good.
If you go for a 4s setupp it shoud be around 1,5-1,6kg , feels suficien for that plane.

Thinking about ordering one from Ming, if he ships to europe for $25 too, that is.. What is the difference between EPP and EPS?

EPS is more of a "Styrfoam"
EPP is mre "Rubbery" you can grip it hard and you will not leave finger dents. if you are going to d ANY mdifications to the airframe though EPS is what you want.

Thanks Mal, I thought so already but now I'm sure :) Will NOT order the EPP version then :)

Still not sure if I'll order one AND if it's going to be EDF or prop driven; I saw some mods that make it look a bit more scale but it's not really a speed demon..

No it~s no speed demon although I have gotten mine almost int the 90MPH Mark.
It`s a nice EDF I would recomend putting in one of Don`s motors into it.

I have the scorpion 2221-08 ,otor in mine with 4S and it could use a little more Punch...Don seems to have a great setup though.
