Well I designed it for my craft, but it is a tried and true style that most every hovercraft uses.
I basicly just measured how tall the skirt would be with a piece of wire on the model itself and adjusted the plan accordingly.

Nice skirt, What kind of fan is that you're using? look like a PC fan but missing the yellow speed wire. A vary nice and thought out hover craft. not thrown together like mine =P
Edit: Never mind I read the pic caption.

Well Finally got arround to workin on my hovercraft project.. so here are some pics... The tape is just to see if everything works.. and to my great pleasure it work's wonderfull and that little thing is supper fast... If I hit something at full speed I would destroy the whole thing.

Is there a universal plan for this skirt? I mean one that can easily be adapted to other craft?

Keylitho,
Nice use of the PC fan! It's nice to see how stuff I have sitting around the house can be used for other purposes. Although it looks like you replaced this fan in your lastest set of pictures. Looks like a ducted sticking out... did the PC fan not have enough juice?
One design qustion since I have no experience w/ hovercraft. If I am correct your skirt is attached between the wood and the step you cut into the foam. How do you bind these three parts? Glue? Or something that can be removed if you ever need to replace the skirt?

Well The fan would have worked but It was just a tad to heavy and so I got this one and I have to say it is awsome At 12v that thing almost pops the skirt. and yes it is just glued... If the skirt rips appart I will probably just make a bigger better craft.. It's ripstop nylon so it should hold up for some time..

Well I if you just copy my corners on the 90 and 45's you should be ok.. I measured the depth of the skirt with a piece of wire.
I can post a cad file if you would like.
