Hi,
When testing the speed controller BL-54 in my AcroMaster i noticed that the propeller was going the wrong way. (I belive that the text on the propeller should be pointing forward)

I then tried to program the speed controller and managed to set all three parameters. But when performing step 5 (Revert to "ready" state) the speed controller started to beep ("Rising sequence of beeps") continuously.

It just wouldn't stop beeping. I then disconnected the battery and tried to go into programming state again but as soon as I connect the battery to the speed controller it starts to beep the sequence over and over again.

I've also tried connecting the battery with the throttle OFF (as in normal case) but it beeps the sequence.

I din't find this behavior in the manual. What might have gone wrong? Is it possible to reset the speed controller somehow?

HELP!

Best regards
/John Eriksson

1. To reverse rotation of a brushless motor simply swap any two of the leads between motor and ESC.
2. Continuous beeping indicates, on most ESC, that throttle on TX is or has been reversed. Did you afjust throttle on TX?
3. Throttle trim shoiuld be at minimum.
4. Battery fully charged and all connections secure[? I] [no intermittant joints or broken leads.'[/I]

John, did you solve your problem? I have the same problem with my BL-17 and can't find the solution. I would appreciate know what you did.

Thank,

Dick

I had the same problem with a BL/17. And here is how i fixed it: since
those controllers are actually Castle Creation OEM products, I used
a Castle Link to reprogram it. Weirdly, last firmware version (3.2) did
not work, fortunately version 2.11 brought the controller back
to life. :)
