Hi all,
Is there anything existing to do this. I want the 2.4Ghz to stop interfeance (and I allready own a dx7) but the mirocopter needs a ppm input not indevidual servo channels.
all sugestions most welcome
Thanks James

I've programmed a Tiny25 for 4 ch PWM in, PPM out. Easy few dozen lines of code if you're familiar with AVR assembly.

Also available by tapping off most RX.

There is a Spektrum made device that is used for a simulator that receives DSM/DSM2 and outputs several channels of PPM. Look up the part number and do a search, there are a few posts about this on the Mr. RCCam forums.

Just use the sattelite receiver that's used by the AR7000 :)
It works just great. Check out

Hi
I would love to see this as I'm totally not versed with AVR assembly.
I think this is just what I need to convert brushed motor output to one using ESCs and brushless motors.
Could we see your coding please?
cheers,
Frank

Be glad to accommodate you. Two others have requested same offline. As soon as finish the failsafe build log I'm working on.

Hi James,
Yes You must use Rainers software, just download http://www.rainerwalther.de/mk/V0.71h-Spektrum.zip
Here's what I did.
First make shure that the receiver + sattelite is bound to the TX, plug the
sattelite into the FC (I made a connector and glued it to the MK).
Picture of where to connect
http://gallery.mikrokopter.de/main.php/v/uploads/IMG_0259+_1_+-+Version+2.jpg.html
1. Connect Your PC to the FC
2. Startup MKtool and load Rainers software
3. Flash the new softw. to the FC
4. Setup channels for sticks (JR/Spektrum is different)
5. Write config to FC
and then just fly.
This worked just fine on my MK
Another solution is to use a converter that will fit all 2.4 Ghz systems http://ich2.dyndns.org/SHOP/ITEM-10
