Yes, you can build out of fiberglass. I'll leave it to those who know to
tell you how. As for your warping balsa problem, I'll offer a suggestion.
I am presently building my 5th hull out of balsa, with never a warping
problem. Before I put the deck on, I put 2-3 coats of white shellac on the
interior , including the underside of the decking wood. The shellac soaks
in and it dries quickly (15 to 20 min.). This waterproofs everything. I
then use CA to glue on the decking. If your boat is gas or glow powered,
use thinned down waterbased polyurethane in place of shellac, as it is
fuelproof.

Thanks Randy

I Have Built A 600mm Electric Boat And The Plans Are Nothing Like The
Cool Ones You Guys Have . The Boat Has A Sort Of Floor In It So The
Botom Of The Hull Was Inaccessible . I Am Going To Build A Wildthing And
Am Going To Scale It Down A Bit . It Looks Really Cool . I Will Then
Take Your Advice And Coat The Inside

Thanks Tom
