Byron Mig15 Retract Issue

I am rebuilding a very early Byron Mig 15. I can't figure out how to get the nose wheel to retract in the scale manner which is forward. Between the limited space , the pipe , the servo position etc.( my nose wheel is 2.5") At this point it doesn't seem doable . Is it ? Has anyone out there had any experience with this . A pic would be great or an explanation would be very much appreciated as i have but a lot of time in this project and would like to see it through....Thanks very much.

Hi built a bunch of these .to do it scale, the wheel goes between the intake duct. So does the pilots legs and cock pit.you will need to make a new two piece intake duct. Or try a 90 deg rotating nose gear. Then the wheel is only about 1 inch thick
