This is a Compass Boat Models (CBM) Marlin. It has been optimized with water cooling. It will never overheat. I have tested it by running 4 battery packs back to back (1800, 3300, 4200) and the motor and esc barely got over ambient outside temperature.

I removed the cartoonish graphics, and now it looks like a nice scale sport fisher boat.

I painted the upholstery to add some color. The upholstery matches the stripe on the side of the boat.

I also replaced the plastic steering wheel with a nice wooden spoked steering wheel from Model Shipways.

I bought this at Hobby People's after Christmas sale for $50 plus tax. I spent several hours modifying the boat.

I have run it one time, and ran four battery packs through it. It performs really well.

I bought it because I wanted to see how good it could become with some modifications. Well, it has become an outstanding boat.

The price has moved back to $80 at Hobby People.

You can buy one, but stock it will overheat. You will need to modify it. Or, you can buy this one and be worry free.

I am selling it for $135 shipped CONUS.

See the thread on it here:
