As I am having to wait two to four weeks for a motor for my Jarmac I went to Home Depot and bought a 7.5 in. thin kerf blade and put it in my 10 in. table saw and it works fine. The kerf is as small as the blades of my Jarmac." Table If you were going to use this set up all the time I would suggest that you modify the space between the blade and the table or make sure you dont rip pieces small enough to fall through.
If you have no saw you can buy a small Skill table saw at Lowes for $99 and put a thin kerf blade in it.
These are just alternatives, you will be tying up your 10" saw and the small Skill has a good size footprint not like a 4" that you can pick up and store away without any effort, so if you have a small shop the larger footprint of the Skill may be a problem but it's a better solution than something from Harbor Freight.
Just a suggestion not a recommendation.

cut a piece of wood (mdf works good) for an insert that replaces the stock one on the saw, lower the blade all the way (with it off of course), replace the insert with your new one, then start the saw and raise the blade as it cut its way through it will give you a zero clearance insert. (old finish carpenter trick) they are cheap to make and within reason easy to use, just make sure to use a good pusher stick and keepa your hands outa the moving blade when you cut thins!

Thanks for the tip fooman, but I should be getting my new motor any day now but if I have to use this setup for any length of time will do as you suggest.

it works for any size blade, makes it easier (and safer) since it can't suck the work piece and your fingers into the blade
