I took a look at the site - seemed really interesting. I note that the total prizes are $ 50,000.00, there are 50 competitive slots available, and the application fee is $ 1200.00.

Kurt, "navy day" regattas are popular over here, until te visitor centre construction was started, the PMBC used to hold a regatta for naval ships.

because I left the camera on macro setting, most of the 60 pics i took that day were Trash so never got used. in 2007 and 2008 the event was postponed due to no fascilities at the lake because of a construction project. (which still isn't built yet)
