There is the spring float fly at Brimfield, MA, I believe there is still a fall event also. The Southern New England Flying Eagles (snhflyingeagles.org) host a very nice, well run event in the fall and there is another event at the Mansfield Dam in CT. A check of the AMA website will get you all the info you need. Good luck,
Ken

The floatfly in Brimfield MA is right off of Route 20, at the state park. The float fly is held twice a year:

(1) The weekend before Memorial Day
(2) The weekend after Labor Day

Thomson dam has 3 float flies each season , It's near Putnam in northeastern CT . I'm
not sure of the club who hosts the event . If I find more info I'll post it .

Yankee Flyers of CT are the hosts .

There are usually 2 small events at Wolff Park in Monroe, CT sponsored by the White Hills Eagles R/C club. I'm not sure if they have determined the dates yet.

I think the floatfly in Brimfield MA is hosted by the LawnDarts of Sturbridge. You can call HogHeaven Hobbies (508-347-9350 ) (http://www.hogheavenhobbies.com/ ) for more information on the floatfly.
